Biography: Youlden began his career as an apprentice at Arsenal but did not make a first team game before moving to Pompey in April 1968. In a little over three seasons made 95 appearances. Signed for Reading in time for the 72/3 season, and then played for Aldershot for four years. Left the 'Shots' at the end of 80/1 and ended his career at Addlestone& Weybridge. Returned to live in his native North London. Taught economics, politics as well as football at University College School in Hampstead.Also helped out at Chelsea's academy for three years.
